Amazing Clear Cast Epoxy Resin is an easy to use clear cast resin which does a brilliant job both as a casting and a pouring/coating resin!
A casting resin which works well for both thin coats and deeper casts. Using the Amazing Clear Cast Resin, only one product will allow you to create all sorts of projects; from coating paintings and filling bottle tops, to casting large bangles and paper weights.
Mixes in equal ratios (1:1 by volume) so very easy to measure up equal amounts of both parts.
Works perfectly with our resin moulds, with no release agent needed (however, release agents are a good way to extend the life of your mould). Can also be cast into plaster, aluminium, latex and urethane moulds if a mold making release (like Vaseline) is used.
Don't use water based dyes or colours with this resin. Our Alumilite Dyes are ideal (which come in a huge range of colours, including fluorescent neon colours!), as well as any dry colours. For gorgeous shimmers and high quality metal effects, use Mica Powder Pigments or the Alumilite Metal Powders. For a glow in the dark effect, use the Phosphorescent Powder!
Can be sanded, wet sanded, and/or buffed.
This 2 gallon kit will cover approximately 7 sq meters (26 sq ft) if used as a 3.1mm (1/8") thick coating. Amazing Clear Cast works best if cast in sections less than 3/8" thickness.
7.5 litres is 2 US Gallons.
This resin has a weight of approx 8kg so equivalent to a 5 kg price of £87.46 inc vat or 10kg price of £174.93.
Mix ratio: 1:1 by volume
Work time: 45-50 min
Demould time: 18-24 hours. Please note: for deeper casts, allow 24-48 hours.
Please note: To help with thickness, keep the Alumilite Clear Cast at a minimum of 21°C or heat the thick side in a bowl of hot tap water for 30 minutes prior to use. The thicker ACC is poured, the cloudier it can be. For thicker castings, multiple pours of 6mm - 16mm approximately 4 hours apart is recommended.
TOP TIP FOR STORAGE: Keep the caps of each resin bottle on tight at all times. Even during use, pour out what you need, then put the caps back on immediately until your next use. This will keep your resin in good working condition for as long as possible.

have used this company for a while now and they have been amazing!
Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast Resin really is amazing. It gives you plenty of time to work before it starts to set. It is crystal clear when set and takes lovely transluscent colours. Simply the best.
Amazing product, takes alot longer to mix than other ones but I'm not fussed about that, it's glass clear and great to work with. I also got a free pigment which is absolutely amazing, I got the red, you only need one, drop...I'll definitely be buying again
Brilliant product. Never fails me. Service from house of resin is excellent. Second to none. Even in a crisis!
I've only recently saved up enough pennies to buy the LARGE version of the Alumilite and I'm very impressed not only by the quality but the value it represents. I'm currently using it for cremation ash jewellery, but also plan on using the majority for a resin/wood step. I would recommend you also purchase the plungers at the same time to, I didn't then ended up buying them a week later! Very happy.
The only reason this does not get 5 stars is the price, it is an expensive resin and there are cheaper alternatives. However this Is very easy to use (if a little thick) and produces great results.
great stuff, easy to use, casts well and turns well on the lathe
This is my go to resin, easy to work with and good value for money
