Casting under pressure is a great way to make high quality resin castings. These professional pressure pots, will help you achieve consistent, bubble free casts.
PLEASE NOTE: These pots will lose pressure. You will need to leave it connected to your compressor to top up the pressure whilst waiting for the critical casting time to pass. The time it takes for the resin to reach the gel stage will vary depending on the resin you are using, but would normally be less than 4/5 hours.
(Buy this pot and save money on your resin and colours - see below)
Pressure casting compresses air bubbles to sizes hard to detected by the human eye creating a virtually bubble free casting. Simply cast your part in your mould and place your mould into the pressure pot. Apply positive air pressure from any regulated compressor and leave to cure under pressure.
These tanks are modified for casting only and cannot be used for paint. All unused outlets are permanently capped with 150psi 316 stainless steel caps.
The maximum working pressure is governed by a mechanical safety valve, recommended good working practice is to use at a maximum working pressure which is 10psi less than technical maximum.
Maximum pressure is 80psi, however we recommend using at a maximum of 60psi. When casting, 40-55psi is generally used.
PLEASE NOTE: No pressure tank is 100% air tight. You will need to top up the pressure in this pot whilst waiting for the critical casting time to pass. You will need to leave it connected to the compressor so any loss can be balanced. The critical casting time (the time it takes for the resin to reach the gel stage) will vary depending on the resin you are using, but would normally be less than 4/5 hours.
Internal Dimensions Height = 22cm Diameter = 26cm.

Can't find a fault with this bit of kit. Very solidly built, easy to set up and holds pressure with very little drop ( 0.25 Bar over a 24-36 hour period, from just under 4 Bar to start with ). Excellent value for money.
None of the valves or sealed orifices leak (tested with soapy water), but the lid does. Have tried various positions, over tightening close to the point of injury and adding petroleum jelly to the lid gasket, with no change. Goes from 60PSI to ~20 in about 30 minutes.
Although I've only had minimal use out of the product I can already see its a good quality piece of kit that I will be able to use a lot in the future. The delivery and service from HoR was superb.
Pot received within two days of placing order. Everything as described. First class product.
Was looking for a very safe, high quality, reasonably priced pressure pot, and this was 10/10 in all aspects.
House of Resin provided good service in difficult times. Dispite the item being out of stock they kept in touch and ensured delivery at the earliest opportunity.
This pressure pot is built incredibly well. Very sturdy. No need to mess around with converting a paint pressure pot too. Arrived well packaged and in good time. Would 100% recommend.
It does the job, and it does it well! I definitely feel more safe using this compared to the cheaper pressure pots out there.
This is a really substantial piece of kit. Once I had the hose and correct fittings to my compressor it worked like a dream. There was a slight air leak at first which was easily sorted by rotating the lid until I found a better seal. An excellent piece of equipment.
