Returns & Cancellations
At House of Resin, we want you to be as excited about your supplies as we are. But we know that sometimes a project changes or you realize you ordered the wrong pigment. No worries—we’ve kept our returns process as clear as a fresh pour of Alumilite.
1. The "Change of Mind" Guarantee (14-Day Cooling Off)
Under UK law, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind and notify us that you’d like to cancel or return your items.

The Timeline: Once you’ve notified us, you have another 14 days to get the goods back to us.

The Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Because resin and chemicals are sensitive to contamination, we cannot accept returns on bottles where the safety seal has been broken.

The Cost: Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a recorded delivery service, as we can’t take responsibility for "lost in the post" parcels.
2. How to Start a Return
We’ve made this easy through your account:

Specify the quantity and your preferred action (Refund, Replacement, or Store Credit).

Note on Store Credit: If you choose store credit, it will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue—perfect for when that next "must-have" mould drops!
3. Exceptions (The "Non-Returnables")
There are a few things we can’t take back because we can’t resell them:

Custom Cuts: Any chains, cords, or materials cut specifically to your requested length.

Media: CDs or DVDs where the plastic seal has been broken.

Opened Chemicals: Any resin, hardener, or pigment where the factory seal is compromised (for safety and quality reasons).
4. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives leaking, damaged, or the product simply isn't performing the way it should, we’ll make it right.

Talk to us first: We’re makers too, and we know that resin can be temperamental! Sometimes it’s just a mixing tweak. If the item is truly faulty, we will provide a full refund or replacement.

Postage: For confirmed faulty items, we will refund your return shipping costs (Standard 2nd Class/Tracked 48 rates apply).
5. The Legal Bit (Simplified)
Our policy is fully compliant with the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Refunds: We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or receiving proof that you’ve sent them).

Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Card, PayPal, etc.).

Statutory Rights: These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
