The Solimould Quad - perfect for pens, razor handles or small knife handles.
Milled from solid block of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), there’s no seams or joints that can leak! The mould is hard-wearing and will not deteriorate from multiple uses with resin.
The shape of the mould allows for easier de-moulding, and less resin wastage - with tapered sides (narrowing towards the bottom) and a radius on each corner.
The mould includes 8 x removable silicon bungs fitted to the bottom, allowing you to de-mould using compressed air. Alternatively, you can give a light tap with a punch through the hole, or use a dead blow hammer/rubber mallet on the back of the mould to release cured blanks. We recommend using a wax-based release agent before pouring in resin to ease in de-moulding.
Size: 130 x 170 x 25mm, each cavity is 20 x 19 x 150mm with a slight taper to the sides.
