Translucent Yupo Synthetic Paper, pack of 10 x A4 - Synthetic paper for Alcohol Ink and Mixed Media

Create your own alcohol ink art on waterproof tree-free Yupo Paper. Mixed media artists, this is for you. Play with watercolour, dyes, pigment inks, alcohol inks, acrylic pain, oil pastel, graphite and pencil, and silk screen - all on one paper.

The translucent Yupo paper is slightly see-through, allowing you to create layers and depth in your work. It is great for backlit applications and gives you strength combined with excellent light diffusion.

Designed to be non-absorbent, Yupo is perfect for alcohol inks and dyes, as it lets colours sit on the surface until they dry. Can also be used with watercolours (may need a final sealing layer).

Its smooth surface is durable, the paper won't tear or rip even when wet. You might want to spray the surface of your completed artwork with a matt clear varnish or finishing spray so that the work will remain stable.

Yupo is great for "loose" painting styles; as the pigments sit on the surface until dry, they can blend and "swim" a little. 

Made a mistake? Add water and wipe clean with a towel - before it is dry you might be able to remove most of the colour! Tweak and play with your work, with no wasted paper!
