FlowCast® SPR is Ecopoxy’s solution for smaller projects, SPR stands for Small Project Resin. This resin has a 2:1 mix ratio and is easy to use on all types of small projects, ideal for weekend projects!

When used alone it cures crystal clear, has an extremely low odour, and can be used for small pours and castings (¼" to 1" thick per layer) including:

  • Serving Boards
  • Coasters
  • Small casting, including using silicone moulds
  • Decorative Resin Art
  • Small-Scale Live-Edge Casting Projects
  • This resin is perfect for casting and see-through encapsulation of objects such as Coins, Photos, Wood, Metal, Concrete, Granite, Copper, Stainless Steel, Bamboo, Leather, Ceramic, Artwork, Rocks, Sea Shells, Fabrics, Paper, Dried Plants and much more. It accentuates and magnifies the objects it encapsulates. Its low viscosity allows it to fill tight gaps and voids, while releasing air bubbles.

For larger projects, we suggest using our deep pour Epoxy Flowcast Resin.

How to use Flow Cast:

  • Mix 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener in a clean and dry container, and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.
  • Add any pigments or dyes, and continue to mix in until evenly coloured (4-5 minutes).
  • Pour into mould - thickness per layer: minimum 6mm - maximum 25mm (¼" to 1" ) thick per layer with a max volume of 3 Litres.
  • Re-pouring in between coats is possible between 25 - 48 hours, providing the previous pour is firm but still tacky. Once tack-free it is necessary to sand with a with 220 grit sandpaper between layers to ensure proper adhesion.
  • This resin can be worked using the tools found in your wood shop.
