The Jacquard Piñata Alcohol Ink Colours are highly saturated, fast-drying alcohol inks. We use them in resin, on metal clay, sterling silver, and glass. They are extremely vibrant and produce brilliant effects on a variety of surfaces, including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather, resin, polymer clay and more. Piñata Alcohol Inks are moisture-resistant when dry, allowing you to work freely on almost any clean, oil-free surface. This makes them an ideal professional product.
The Copper is a metallic colour, made from real metal pigments. It adds a stunning richness and liveliness to works. Especially good for crafts, faux stained glass, card making and faux finishing techniques.
These inks are extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of applications, including rubber stamping, fine art, fiber art, and scrapbooking. You can also use Piñata in calligraphy, faux finishing techniques, graphic and airbrush applications, as well as wood and leather staining.

The Hardcore Alcohol Ink Art Panels by Masterpiece has a surface that offers you more control over your artwork than traditional papers. They work AMAZINGLY with alcohol inks. They’re 1/8” thin, firm MDF boards with a lightly textured non-porous vinyl. And, they're double sided, giving you two sides to work on. Here you get 3 panels, giving you a total of 6 work surfaces to play around with!
The panel has a slight texture with tiny peaks and valleys, giving it a slight pearlescent shimmer effect as light reflects of it. The vinyl extends work time for the colour-saturated, acid-free Piñata inks by creating less spread across the surface. As the ink flows less, you can paint a line and have more control over your artwork. And if you want the magic and excitement of more flow, just add some blending solution or 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. With the vinyl surface, the inks won’t don’t dry as fast, so you’ll have more time to work on your project. If you want to speed up the drying, just use a heat-gun. The solid vinyl panel can take the heat, just always move the heat gun around, so you don’t stay focused on one particular area.
It is recommended that you apply a couple of coats of a varnish or sealer, and then a UV protectant. You can also top it off with a two-part epoxy resin (like the Art Resin or Amazing Clear Casting Resin) which will transform your work into something you would expect to see in an art gallery. The combination of the brilliant alcohol ink colours with the resin produces a lasting work of art that really makes the colours pop and offers a glossy glass-like finish that will impress your friends and art buyers!
